Man United set €75m price tag on Sesko amid transfer interest

Manchester United have reportedly placed a €75 million valuation on Benjamin Sesko as Barcelona and Juventus continue to monitor the Slovenia international.

According to TuttoJuve, United’s hierarchy have determined the figure they would expect for the 23-year-old, despite growing speculation over his future at Old Trafford.

Sesko joined United from RB Leipzig for €76.5m last summer and has scored 14 goals in 38 appearances for the club.

Barcelona and Juventus monitoring Sesko

Sesko has yet to start a Premier League match for Michael Carrick’s side this season as United continue to manage a shin problem he suffered towards the end of last campaign.

His limited involvement has reportedly attracted interest from elsewhere, with Juventus adding the striker to their list of potential attacking targets for 2027.

The Italian club are also monitoring Monaco forward Folarin Balogun and could consider making Nick Woltemade’s loan move permanent when his spell from Newcastle United ends.

However, Juventus are expected to keep a close eye on Sesko’s performances before deciding whether to make a formal approach.

Barcelona are also understood to have maintained an interest in the striker as they search for a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

United unlikely to rush into Sesko sale

Despite the reported €75m valuation, United are not expected to actively pursue a Sesko departure next year.

The Slovenian has scored once every 145 minutes since arriving at Old Trafford, while he has yet to enjoy a consistent run of starts under his current manager.

United are also expected to prioritise defensive reinforcements in the next transfer window rather than immediately investing in another first-choice striker.

Joshua Zirkzee could also leave the club if a suitable offer arrives, but losing both senior centre forwards would leave United needing another attacking option.

For that reason, Barcelona and Juventus may face a difficult task convincing United to part with Sesko, even if they are prepared to meet the club’s reported €75m valuation.
