Kira Taiwo, daughter of veteran Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has broken down in tears while revealing that her father is battling stage four cancer.

Kira made the disclosure in an emotional video shared on social media obtained by PerSecondNews, where she appealed to medical professionals who may be able to offer further treatment for the veteran actor.

According to her, doctors attending to Ogogo have told the family that chemotherapy can no longer be administered, leaving her desperate to find another medical option that could help her father.

“My dad is battling stage four cancer and the doctor said they can’t do chemo for him anymore,” Kira said in the emotional appeal.

The development, she said, has left the family searching for anyone with the medical expertise to provide further assistance or recommend another possible course of treatment.

Kira stressed that her appeal was not for financial assistance, making it clear that what she desperately needs is a medical professional who can examine her father and possibly offer another treatment option.

“I’m not asking for money. I’m asking for a medical doctor who can treat my father, anybody who can help us,” she said.

PerSecondNews reports that the emotional appeal has sparked concern among fans and colleagues of Ogogo, with many expressing sympathy for the family and calling for prayers for the veteran actor.

The actor has featured in numerous Nigerian films and television productions, becoming particularly known for his roles in Yoruba-language movies and his distinctive screen presence.

Kira’s revelation has come as a shock to admirers of the actor, many of whom have taken to social media to send messages of support following the disclosure of his reported health battle.

While Kira did not provide further details about the type of cancer or Ogogo’s current medical condition, her appeal suggests that the family is actively seeking another medical opinion or treatment option.

As the family searches for possible medical assistance, Kira has urged qualified medical professionals who may be able to help her father to come forward, saying her immediate concern is urgent medical intervention.
