‘True Mother of the Nation’: APC Chairman Celebrates Oluremi Tinubu at 66

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, has congratulated First Lady Oluremi Tinubu on her 66th birthday, describing her as a compassionate leader whose initiatives have reached Nigerians across different parts of the country.

Yilwatda conveyed the message on Monday on behalf of the APC National Working Committee, party leaders and members as Oluremi Tinubu marked her birthday.

In the statement, the APC chairman highlighted the First Lady’s activities through the Renewed Hope Initiative and other programmes, particularly in education, healthcare, women and youth empowerment, as well as support for vulnerable Nigerians.

Yilwatda described her as a “true mother of the nation” and said her public activities had focused on restoring dignity, providing support and giving people hope.

He also commended what he referred to as her “quiet acts of kindness”, saying her humanitarian efforts had made her a source of comfort and encouragement to many Nigerians.

The APC chairman further acknowledged Oluremi Tinubu’s support for her husband, President Bola Tinubu, as his administration pursues its economic and national development agenda.

According to Yilwatda, her strength, wisdom, prayers and understanding have provided support to the President in carrying out the responsibilities of governance.

“Your partnership exemplifies the power of shared purpose in the service of a nation,” he said.

Yilwatda also prayed for the First Lady to receive continued good health, wisdom, grace and renewed strength as she begins another year.

He wished her greater fulfilment and expressed hope that she would continue to contribute to humanitarian and public-service initiatives.

The APC chairman also prayed for the continued wellbeing of her marriage to the President and for strength and wisdom for both of them in their service to Nigeria.
