Carter Efe Reacts to Babcock’s Certificate Forgery Legal Threat

Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has reacted to Babcock University’s decision to pursue legal action over claims that he forged the institution’s academic certificate.

The controversy began after Carter Efe claimed during an interview with Egungun of Lagos that he graduated with a first-class degree from the university. He later shared what was presented as his certificate on his X account.

University announces legal action

Following the circulation of the claim and the document online, Babcock University announced that it would take legal action against those responsible for what it described as forged certificates linked to the institution.

The university’s position sparked widespread reactions across social media, with many users discussing the authenticity of the claims and the institution’s response.

Carter Efe mocks the warning

Reacting during a livestream, Carter Efe appeared to dismiss the university’s legal warning.

The content creator jokingly said Babcock University would have to pay ₦100,000 for a ticket before they could see him.

His remarks have since generated fresh conversations online as the dispute continues to attract public attention.
