Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has declared that he is ready to become more vocal about insecurity and governance issues in the country despite the possibility of backlash.
The musician made the statement in a post shared on his X account, where he criticised what he described as coordinated online attacks against outspoken public figures.

According to the former P-Square member, he is no longer afraid of criticism or attempts to “cancel” him for expressing his opinions on national issues.
“The way I’m about to start speaking out on insecurity and bad governance in Nigeria, all these N3k sponsored attackers better get ready,” he wrote.
Peter Okoye also suggested that he has reached a point where public attacks and online criticism no longer affect him.
“If una wan cancel me, make una line up well. Cos me too I don fall out,” he added.
His comments come amid increasing calls from celebrities, activists, and public figures for stronger action against insecurity and worsening economic conditions in Nigeria.
Several entertainers in recent weeks, including Skepta and VeryDarkMan, have also publicly spoken about insecurity and governance concerns in the country.
