Turkish club Besiktas are reportedly open to selling Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi during the summer transfer window as they look to reshape their squad.
The Istanbul side is said to be seeking a fee above €10 million for the midfielder, after signing him from Leicester City for around €8 million last year.
Ndidi joined Besiktas in 2025 but could now leave the club following a difficult season and changes in the team’s direction.
New coach plans squad changes
The arrival of manager Vincenzo Italiano has reportedly affected Ndidi’s position at the club, with reports suggesting the midfielder may not be part of the coach’s plans for the 2026/27 season.
Besiktas are believed to be reviewing several players as they attempt to reduce their wage commitments and adjust their squad structure.
Nigeria-eligible defender Felix Uduokhai has also reportedly been mentioned among players who could leave.
Saudi clubs monitoring situation
The Saudi Pro League has emerged as a possible destination for Ndidi, with clubs from the region said to be monitoring his availability.
A return to England has also been discussed, although a move to Manchester United appears unlikely after the club’s recent midfield additions.
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Ndidi is expected to return for pre-season training on June 28.
The midfielder still has two years remaining on his Besiktas contract, but the club’s willingness to consider offers could determine his next move before the new season begins.
