Nigerian content creator Officer Woos has dismissed reports circulating online that he announced the death of his colleague, Broda Shaggy.
The claim began after an X user alleged that Officer Woos shared a post announcing the passing of Broda Shaggy on Instagram.
The report quickly spread across social media, causing reactions from fans and followers of both entertainers.
Content creator labels report false
Reacting to the claim, Officer Woos shared a screenshot of the viral post on his Instagram story and described it as “false”.
His legal representatives, Versed Attorneys, also released a statement denying the reports.
The statement said Officer Woos never announced the death of any colleague, friend or associate on his official platforms.
The lawyers described the circulating reports as false publications aimed at misleading the public.
Legal action threatened over publication
Officer Woos’ representatives said appropriate legal steps may be taken against individuals responsible for spreading the claim.
They urged members of the public to disregard the information and rely only on verified sources.
Broda Shaggy death rumour follows past incident
The speculation comes months after Broda Shaggy was reportedly shot while filming at Sango Ota Bridge in Ogun State in March 2026.
Since that incident, the content creator has largely stayed away from public comments about the situation.
No official confirmation of Broda Shaggy’s death has been released.
