No Vote Wasting Again – Gov Soludo Endorses Tinubu for Second Term

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term in office.

Governor Soludo made the declaration while speaking at the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Ebonyi State on Monday.

The governor emphasized that progressives are now working together for the collective interest of the country and the region.

Addressing the crowd, Governor Soludo strongly urged the people of the South-East to align with mainstream national politics, stating that the region would no longer play the politics of lamentation.

“I’m endorsing President Tinubu for a second term. I stand in solidarity because progressives are working together. Igbos should not waste their vote again,” Soludo said.

Historically, the South-East operated as a reliable voting bloc for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), a strategy aimed at securing federal relevance. However, the emergence of Peter Obi under the Labour Party in 2023 fractured this traditional opposition base.

Although Obi won close to two million votes in the South-East, the split between Labour Party and PDP votes weakened the opposition and helped the APC secure victory.
