Man Utd eject Sancho, Malacia from next season squad

Premier League club, Manchester United, have confirmed that Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia and Casemiro will all leave this club this summer following the expiration of their contract with the team.

Man United, in a statement, informed that the players would leave the club at end of June and become free agents in their next transfer, thanking the trio for their services since moving to the club.

26-year-old Sancho who made 83 appearances in all competitions and scored 12 goals, providing six assists for the Old Trafford side, has not featured for the Northwest based side since the Community Shield in August 2024, having joined from Borussia Dortmund for €85million in July 2021 spent the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Aston Villa, winning the Europa League but only scoring once in all competitions, while also being on loan at Chelsea during the 2024-25, registering three goals in 31 league appearances and winning the UEFA Conference League.

Malacia had been bystander over injury for a long spell and perhaps the most quietly frustrating of the three exits, the Dutch left-back been plagued by a long-term knee injury that effectively erased multiple seasons from his United career, while Casemiro had announced in January that he would be departing United at the end of the season

“Everyone at the club would like to thank Casemiro, Tyrell and Jadon for their contributions to Manchester United and wish them the very best of luck for the future,” the club statement on Wednesday reads in bit.
