A chieftain of the African Democratic Party (ADC), Kenneth Okonkwo, has revealed that he advised Peter Obi against joining the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) before the former Anambra State governor made the move.
Okonkwo shared the claim in a post on his verified X account on Friday, saying he cautioned Obi about the political implications of leaving the ADC.
According to him, he believed Obi could face challenges within the NDC structure after joining the party.
