The wife and son of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman in Yauri Local Government Area of Kebbi State, Yusuf Alhasan, have reportedly been abducted by suspected bandits.
The incident was disclosed by security analyst and conflict reporter Bakatsine in a post shared on X.
According to the report, the attackers invaded Alhasan’s residence in the Low-Cost area of Yauri during the early hours of Monday.
Victims taken to unknown location
The gunmen were said to have taken the two family members away to an undisclosed location after the attack.
As of the time of filing this report, their whereabouts remained unknown.
No official confirmation had been released by security agencies or the Kebbi State Government regarding the incident.
