An aspirant seeking to represent Esan South-East Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, Barrister Victor Giwa, has praised ongoing efforts aimed at improving security in parts of Edo State.
Giwa specifically commended Governor Monday Okpebholo for what he described as positive progress in addressing security concerns within Uloshi community and other areas facing threats from criminal activities.
His comments come amid continued concerns over kidnapping and violent attacks recorded in several parts of the state.

The proposed initiative, he said, would provide a sustainable funding mechanism for security agencies and paramilitary organizations operating in Edo State.
He explained that the fund could support the provision of equipment, personnel training, intelligence gathering and other operational needs required to improve security outcomes.
