Husband sends nurse wife packing after discovering she inflated children’s school fees by ₦500k

A lady has shared a story about a nurse who allegedly lied to her husband that their children’s school fees was ₦800,000, only for him to discover that the actual fee was ₦300,000.

The story was shared by X user @itzchristunique, who narrated how the alleged deception reportedly caused a serious disagreement between the couple.

‘The School Fees Is ₦800,000’

According to the post, the nurse informed her husband that he needed to pay ₦800,000 for their children’s school fees.

The man reportedly pleaded with her to consider moving the children to a cheaper school because of the amount involved.

However, the woman allegedly insisted that the children remain in the same school.

Husband Visits the School

The man reportedly decided to visit the school himself without informing his wife, intending to withdraw the children.

However, he allegedly received a surprise when he asked about the school fees.

According to the post, he discovered that the actual amount was ₦300,000, significantly less than what his wife had told him.

He reportedly paid the ₦300,000 school fees before returning home.

‘It Was Just a Prank’

The post claimed that the man subsequently asked his wife to leave the house after discovering the difference in the amount she had reportedly given him.

The woman allegedly pleaded with him, explaining that she had only been attempting a prank she saw online.

The post read:

“This nurse told her husband that their children’s school fees is #800,000

The man begged her to look for another cheaper school with lesser fee.

She insisted it must be the same school.

He decided to go to the school himself to withdraw the children from there without telling the wife.

When he got there, he found out the fee wasn’t #800,000 but #300,000.

He paid the fee, came back and asked her to leave his house.

She has been begging him that it was just a prank she saw online.”
