The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Angwan-Wayo Community, Tattara/Kondoro Electoral Ward of Karu Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, has commenced grassroots mobilisation efforts ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The community held a strategic meeting that brought together party leaders, women, youths and supporters to brainstorm on how to strengthen the APC’s support base and position the party for victory at the polls.
Discussions at the meeting centred on unity among members, effective grassroots engagement, voter mobilisation and the need for regular communication between party leaders and supporters.
The APC leaders noted that the strength of any political party is largely determined by its ability to maintain a strong presence at the grassroots.
They called for greater engagement with residents and voters across Angwan-Wayo and the wider Tattara/Kondoro Electoral Ward.
The leaders also identified the need to reach out to undecided voters, listen to the concerns of community members and communicate the policies and programmes of the APC effectively.
They stressed that achieving victory in 2027 would require more than campaign activities close to election day, urging members to begin sustained mobilisation and community engagement well ahead of the polls.
The meeting also provided an avenue for party members to identify challenges affecting the APC at the grassroots and exchange ideas on how such challenges could be addressed through collective action.
They reaffirmed their commitment to working together to strengthen the party’s structure and support its candidates across the various levels of government.
They urged APC members to remain united, disciplined and committed to the party, while encouraging supporters to take the party’s message to their families, neighbours and communities.
The gatherers also expressed confidence in the APC, that a united and properly coordinated grassroots structure would improve the APC’s chances of recording a strong performance in the 2027 elections.
“We are for APC and we are voting for APC come 2027″ they declared.
The meeting ended with a renewed commitment to intensify grassroots mobilisation, strengthen internal unity and work collectively towards delivering Angwan-Wayo and Tattara/Kondoro Electoral Ward for the APC in 2027.
