A masked guest identified as Oga 9ja surprised newlyweds Peller and Jarvis with a ceremonial cheque worth ₦10 million during their wedding reception in Lagos.
The presentation took place on Saturday during the star-studded celebration, drawing loud cheers from guests as the costumed visitor made a dramatic entrance before handing over the gift to the couple.
Videos circulating on social media showed the guest dressed in a full pink elephant mascot costume, black sunglasses, a white agbada-style outfit and coral beads while presenting the oversized cheque.
The cheque, addressed to “Mr & Mrs Adelaja,” indicated a cash gift of ₦10,000,000. Guests at the reception applauded as Peller and Jarvis received the surprise, with many capturing the moment on their phones.
Shortly after the presentation, Oga 9ja directed members of the public to a promotional website linked to an upcoming campaign centred on the couple’s future family.
The platform, branded “Peller’s Biggest Drop Yet,” invites users to predict whether the couple’s first child will be a boy, a girl or twins ahead of its official launch on August 14, 2026.
According to information on the landing page, participation is free, while successful entrants will be eligible for raffle draws with cash prizes ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦250,000. The website also requests users’ phone numbers to access what it describes as a unique welcome offer once the campaign goes live.
The latest gift adds to the highlights of the couple’s wedding celebration, which attracted celebrities, influencers and business figures from across Nigeria.
Earlier during the event, real estate entrepreneur King Ochacho announced the gift of a reported ₦400 million mansion in Abuja, while socialite Cubana Chief Priest also presented the newlyweds with ₦10 million.
The celebrations have continued to generate widespread attention online, with videos and photos from the wedding dominating conversations across social media.
