Former P-Square manager and music executive Jude Okoye has denied allegations of financial misconduct and royalty diversion made against him by his younger brother, Peter Okoye.
In a video released on Sunday, Jude insisted that all royalty payments and financial distributions were handled in accordance with existing agreements and were properly documented.
Responding to claims that more than $1.2 million in royalties had been diverted, Jude said the allegations had already been investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and that the matter is currently before a competent court.
According to him, claims that Peter was removed as a signatory to company bank accounts or denied access to royalty records are false.
“Allegations that Peter was removed as a signatory to company bank accounts or denied access to royalty records are false,” Jude said.
He further stated that relevant bank documents, financial records and digital evidence have already been presented before the court as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
Jude urged the public to disregard comments circulating on social media regarding the dispute, stressing that he would allow the judicial process to determine the facts of the case.
The latest development adds another chapter to the long-running dispute between the Okoye brothers, whose disagreements over business operations and financial matters have repeatedly attracted public attention.
