Nigerian content creator Elizabeth Amadu, popularly known as Jarvis, has dismissed rumours that she is pregnant for her newly married husband, Peller.
Speculation about a possible pregnancy emerged shortly after the couple’s wedding, with some social media users claiming that Jarvis’ fuller-looking face was a possible sign of pregnancy.
Some of the online claims also suggested that the couple may have hurried their wedding because of the alleged pregnancy.
However, Jarvis addressed the speculation during a recent livestream, explaining that the appearance of her face is connected to a previous surgery on her jawline.
She said:
“All of you who have been laughing at me because my face looks fat didn’t know I had surgery on it. That’s why it looks bigger. Don’t worry, when I am done with my white wedding, I am going to do another surgery to fix my face.”
The content creator did not confirm any pregnancy and instead attributed the change in her facial appearance to the previous procedure.
Jarvis had undergone surgery in November 2024 to remove a painful tumour from her jawline.
Her comments have since drawn reactions from fans, with some social media users urging others to stop speculating about her pregnancy and appearance.
Jarvis and Peller recently celebrated their marriage in a series of ceremonies that attracted significant attention across social media, with celebrities, influencers and prominent personalities attending the celebrations.
