Galatasaray are reportedly closing in on the signing of Stuttgart striker Ermedin Demirovic as they look to add another option behind Victor Osimhen.
Turkish football transfer expert Süleyman Rodop said the club could complete the deal within the next two days.
“Unless something unexpected happens at Galatasaray, Ermedin Demirovic will be Osimhen’s backup,” Rodop said, according to Habersarikirmizi.
He added that he expected the transfer to be finalised within one or two days.
Galatasaray push for another striker
The Turkish champions have been working to strengthen their attacking options, with Demirovic emerging as one of the names under consideration.
Reports from Turkey indicate that Galatasaray have already made progress in negotiations with Stuttgart over the Bosnia and Herzegovina international. One report said the Turkish club had submitted a €20 million offer and that talks had advanced.
Earlier reports had also indicated that Galatasaray were seeking a striker who could provide competition and cover for Osimhen.
For Galatasaray, the potential arrival of Demirovic would give Buruk greater depth in attack, particularly with the club facing domestic and European commitments.
The transfer, however, remains subject to completion, with further developments expected in the coming days.
