An American investigator has recounted how her team travelled to Nigeria to track down scammers accused of bl@ckmailing and defr@uding teenagers in the United States, saying what they discovered left them completely speechless.

According to her account, the team confronted Yahoo boys, Nigerian fr@udsters running sextortion schemes that have been linked to su!cides among American teenagers.

And in the process learned about so-called Yahoo Plus rituals involving the use of charms and juju to manipulate victims.

She said the scammers were surprisingly cooperative when confronted in person, openly sharing details of their methods despite the cruelty of their online activities.

A video documenting the team’s findings has since triggered widespread reactions among Nigerians, sparking conversations around economic pressures, the country’s national image, and calls for stronger enforcement against the crimes, further underscoring the global fight against such transnational offences.
