Convicted American rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been moved to solitary confinement following an alleged altercation with another inmate at a federal prison in the United States.
The incident reportedly occurred earlier this week at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey, where the music executive is serving his prison sentence.
According to reports, the confrontation began after another inmate allegedly insulted Diddy, leading to a physical fight before correctional officers intervened to separate the pair.
DailyInsightNG reports that prison authorities subsequently transferred the rapper to solitary confinement while the incident is being reviewed.
A report by TMZ stated that disciplinary action could follow if prison officials determine that Diddy violated institutional rules during the altercation.
The reported fight comes months after the American music star was sentenced to more than four years in prison in October 2025 following his conviction on sex trafficking-related charges.
Authorities have not publicly disclosed whether either inmate sustained injuries during the confrontation, and no official statement has yet been released by prison officials regarding the outcome of the investigation.
The case remains under internal review, with any disciplinary measures expected to depend on the findings of prison authorities.
