Aspirants who lost the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries for seats in the Niger State House of Assembly have declared their unwavering support for the party, pledging to work for its victory in the 2027 general elections.
The former aspirants said they had put aside their personal ambitions and were committed to mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu, Governor Umaru Bago and all APC candidates in the state.
The declaration was made on Monday during a press conference in Minna, where the group reaffirmed its loyalty to the party and called on members to remain united ahead of the 2027 polls.
Speaking on behalf of the aspirants, the group’s chairman, Hon. Abdul Haske, said all party members had a collective responsibility to work together to ensure the APC recorded a resounding victory in the elections.
According to him, unity, loyalty and commitment among party stakeholders would be crucial to sustaining the APC’s dominance in Niger State and across the country.
Haske urged members to remain focused and avoid actions capable of creating divisions within the party, stressing that cooperation at all levels would strengthen the APC’s chances of winning every elective position in the state.
He also called on party faithful to intensify grassroots mobilisation and continue supporting the Tinubu and Bago administrations, expressing confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in the 2027 general elections.
