Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa has made a minor reshefflement in the state executive council.
The announcement was made by the Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa state, Dr. Shuaibu Labaran Magaji, SAN shortly after the state executive council meeting, Tuesday July 22, 2026, in Lafia.
According to him, the governor said the changes were part of efforts to strengthen the administration’s preparations for the work ahead and the forthcoming election.
The SSG announced that six commissioners were relieved of their duties.
Those affected include commissioner for security and sundary matters
Usman Baba, commissioner of works Mu’azu Gosho, commissioner for land David Moyi, commissioner of women affairs and social development Hauwa Jigbo and commissioner of science and technology Gabriel Agbashi.
The commissioner for information, culture and tourism Ibrahim Tanko was also among those relieved of their appointments.
He however, commended affected commissioners for their commitment to good governance, and said the list of their replacements would be unveiled in due course.
