Premier League club, Leeds United, have completed the signing of Bosnia defender, Tarik Muharemovic, to bolster its defensive options for the 20116/27 season.
Muharemovic, who has transited to the club in a move worth £34.1 million from Serie A club, Sassuolo, signed a five-year deal, and would be a direct replacement for departed Pascal Struijk who left Leeds in the summer to join London based side, Fulham.
The 23-year-old, who becomes the second signee for The Whites in this summer following his move completed on Friday, said, ”I will give everything for this club, I will give everything, every game.
”I just want to win. I hate to lose and I will fight for every ball, even if it is my head or my feet, I am going.”
The Centre Back, who made three appearances for Bosnia at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, including the Round of 32 fixture against hosts, USA, had a spell in Juventus where he did not make a single first-team appearance, but was sold to Sassuolo in 2025 after a successful loan spell.
Juventus are to receive at least 50 percent of the deal due to a clause included in their sale of the defender last summer.
