How Infosys became part of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding celebrations

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding has become one of the biggest celebrity events of the year. The pop icon and her NFL beau are expected to exchange vows on July 3 , as per Associated Press.

The celebrations have fans excited around the world, but one detail has also put Indian IT major Infosys in the global spotlight, thanks to its association with one of the venues linked to the high-profile event.

According to Forbes magazine, the couple reportedly hosted a rehearsal dinner for 100 guests on July 2 inside the Infosys Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York.
The venue takes its name from the Bengaluru-headquartered technology giant after Infosys entered into a partnership with the Madison Square Garden Family of Companies in February.

As part of the collaboration, Infosys also provides digital technology solutions across the MSG ecosystem, including services for the New York Knicks, New York Rangers and MSG Networks.

The repeated mention of the Infosys Theater in international media coverage of the Taylor-Travis wedding has brought the company into conversations well beyond the technology industry.

Phil Fersht, founder and CEO of HFS Research, described the exposure as exceptional marketing for Infosys, saying on LinkedIn that he had “never seen better impact marketing from a service provider.”

Swift and Kelce’s wedding celebration is expected to take place at Madison Square Garden’s primary arena, reported CNN. Nearly 1,000 guests are expected to attend the couple’s special day.

Security arrangements around the event are said to be extensive. Guests may be required to surrender their mobile phones before entering, while venue staff have reportedly been asked not to use personal phones during preparations.

With celebrations expected to draw crowds, New York City has tightened security and introduced temporary street closures around Madison Square Garden.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani also appeared to allude to the reported wedding during a public briefing, joking: “We are ready, but we wanna make sure you are too. Especially if you are celebrating the World Cup or the 4th of July, or renting out MSG to get married, hypothetically.”
