The family of Pastor Osazee Clement Osayomore, founder and General Overseer of Wind of Change Ministry and former deputy governorship candidate of the People’s Party of Nigeria (PPN), has alleged that his political involvement has exposed members of the family to sustained attacks.
Speaking with journalists in Benin City, the pastor’s younger sister, Miss Tina Osayomore, claimed that their eldest brother, Wellington Orobosa Osayomore, has been forced into hiding after surviving what she described as a series of alleged attacks by suspected political thugs.
According to her, the latest incident occurred on May 20, 2026, when the attackers allegedly stormed Orobosa’s residence at No. 7 Faith Lane, off Ekenwan Road, Ugbiyokho.
Tina alleged that the assailants gained access to the house and severely assaulted her brother before neighbours intervened. She said he narrowly escaped death by climbing through a window and fleeing with serious injuries.
She further claimed that the May attack was not an isolated incident, alleging that previous attempts had also been made on Orobosa’s life, including one in which he reportedly sustained a broken leg and was hospitalized.
According to her, the matter has since been reported to the police.
Tina alleged that the repeated attacks were aimed at sending a message to Pastor Clement Osayomore, whom she claimed had gone into hiding after receiving threats from political opponents over his previous political activities and what she described as his alleged betrayal of his political party.
She also alleged that the series of attacks has affected other members of the family, claiming that one Paul Aisabor was attacked while their uncle later died following related incidents.
No official response had been received from the police on the development.
