A Nigerian man’s post about the amount his neighbour’s son received after eight years of service to his boss has grabbed attention online.
In a viral post on X (formerly Twitter), the man disclosed that his neighbour’s son was settled with 4.5 million naira.

According to the man, who goes by @Mikelliberation on X, his neighbour’s son paid ₦1.3 million for one year’s shop rent and ₦850,000 for house rent, set up counters and filled the shop with goods.
In a devastating twist, months later, his parents realized the business was dwindling, while the father blamed his son’s boss for settling him with N4.5 million after years of apprenticeship.
