Arsenal have been handed a transfer blow in their interest in Eintracht Frankfurt defender Nathaniel Brown.
The Premier League champions have been strongly linked with a move for Brown this summer.
Brown had an impressive season for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga as he recorded four goals and provided four assists.
However, according to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich are now closing in on the 22-year-old’s signature.
The report added that the Germany international has already agreed on personal terms with Vincent Kompany’s side.
Arsenal are keen to bolster their manager Mikel Arteta’s squad after they lost the UEFA Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain last month.
