The Oyo state Police Command Thursday said five suspects have been arrested in connection with the discovery of firearms and other incriminating items.
The command Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Olayinka Ayanlade, stated that the said firearms and other incriminating items were allegedly found in a building said to belong to a former member of the Park Management System (PMS), Oyo state, Surajudeen Adio.
The PPRO stated that the former PMS member was reported to the police for allegedly threatening to shoot an individual upon which the police commenced investigations on the allegation.
DSP Ayanlade stated that investigations are ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect and unravel the full extent of the alleged criminal activities linked to the property allegedly recovered from the building.
