Sevilla have rejected an offer from Serie A newcomers Venezia for Nigerian striker Akor Adams, according to reports.
The Spanish club reportedly turned down a proposal valued below €10 million as they consider the forward’s current market value to be much higher.
Sevilla are said to be seeking a transfer fee between €20 million and €30 million for the Super Eagles attacker.
Nigerian forward attracts transfer interest
Adams joined Sevilla from French side Montpellier in January 2025 in a deal worth around €6 million.
Since arriving in Spain, the striker has become an important attacking option for the club.
Italian club Venezia are not the only side monitoring his situation, with French giants Marseille also reportedly interested in securing his services.
Adams delivers strong debut season
The 26-year-old enjoyed a productive campaign for Sevilla last season, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 32 appearances across competitions.
His performances have increased interest in his availability as clubs continue to assess attacking options during the transfer window.
Sevilla hold contract advantage
Adams still has three years remaining on his contract with Sevilla, giving the Spanish club a strong position in negotiations.
