A Nigerian lady has weighed in on Alexx Ekubo’s marriage, taking to social media to share her thoughts.
It would be recalled that the actor passed away on May 11, 2026, at the age of 40, due to complications from advanced metastatic kidney cancer.

Identified as @QueenDoris16 on X (formerly Twitter), the lady opened up about her admiration for Alexx Ekubo.
She further slammed his decision to marry a young woman despite his health struggles and uncertain future.
”I don’t know if I’m insensitive..I like Alex Ekubo, but I think it was selfish of him to get married knowing fully well that he’s sick and might likely not make it. Imagine making that innocent young girl a widow”, The tweet reads.
Alexx Ekubo’s Burial
Alexx Ekubo’s burial took place on June 18, 2026, in Arochukwu, Abia State.
The funeral service was held at Mary Slessor School, Amanagwu Village, followed by interment at his family residence at 7 Ekubo-Okwaraeke Avenue, Aziukwukwa, Ujari Village m
The burial was attended by notable personalities from the entertainment and business sectors, including Obi Cubana, Ini Edo, Nancy Isime, IK Ogbonna, Mike Godson, AY Makun, and Bimbo Ademoyem.
Additionally, his wife, who appeared pregnant was spotted at the funeral.
