Afro-Gospel artist Godfrey Gad and gospel collective Sound of Salem have released their collaborative extended play, Salem Alaikum, today, Friday, June 12, 2026.
The joint project follows their earlier partnership on the single “Goodness II” and arrives exactly one month after the promotional track “Oh My Soul” debuted on May 12.
Salem Alaikum blends Gad’s uptempo “Afro-Kabash” style with Sound of Salem’s atmospheric worship chants, creating a fusion of contemporary African rhythms and traditional spiritual worship.
According to the management of both acts, the EP targets both Nigerian and international gospel music audiences, aiming to bridge modern sonic landscapes with sacred musical heritage.
The five-track project is now available on major streaming platforms.
