According to the statement, themed “Justice could only be served when the unaffected are as outraged as those affected”, the group described the approval as “oneness, patriotism, empathy, unity and love in action.”
“This action has given the people of the Southeast a true sense of belonging. It is a clear indication that the future is not only bright, but will be better for all Nigerians,” the statement said.
The CLO Anambra prayed for the quick commencement of the project and its completion within record time to unlock economic growth, improve connectivity and strengthen national unity.
The group appealed to the Federal Government and the National Assembly to extend such good gesture to the dilapidated and decripit Onitsha -Owerri, Nnewi -Uga-Okigwe roads.
