Birthday: ‘You are a dedicated legislator, committed public servant,’ Speaker Abbas felicitates Hon. Mamudu  

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajuddeen, has extended warm congratulations to the Member representing Agaie/Lapai Federal Constituency, and Chairman House Committee on Judiciary Hon. Abdullahi Mamudu, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a dedicated legislator and committed public servant whose contributions continue to make a positive impact on his constituents. 

In a goodwill message marking the occasion, Speaker Abbas commended Hon. Mamudu’s commitment to effective representation and service to the people, noting that his dedication “continues to inspire confidence among his constituents.” 

 He wished the lawmaker continued success, good health, and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.

Meanwhile, as part of activities marking the anniversary, Hon. Mamudu visited Agaie General Hospital, where he volunteered as a non-remunerated blood donor. 

Blueprint reports that the gesture forms part of his campaign to raise awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation, encourage citizens to donate blood freely, support hospitals in addressing critical healthcare challenges, save lives, and provide a lifeline in emergency situations. 

The blood donation initiative is also in furtherance of his healthcare development projects in Agaie Local Government Area.  

 The lawmaker has completed the construction and furnishing of the doctors’ quarters at Agaie General Hospital, while work is ongoing on the construction of an Accident and Emergency Ward for the hospital.
