53-year-old Hollywood actress Cameron Diaz and her husband, 47-year-old Benji Madden, have announced the arrival of their third child.
The news comes just over a year after Diaz returned to acting with Netflix’s Back in Action, following a decade-long hiatus she previously described as the “best” of her life.
The announcement was made on Monday in Los Angeles, where the couple resides, marking another milestone in their marriage, which began in 2015.
Madden shared the news on Instagram, revealing the baby’s name as Nautas Madden, alongside an image of a ship symbolising the nautical inspiration behind the name.
“Cameron and I are happy, excited, and feeling so blessed to announce the birth of our third child, Nautas Madden,” he wrote. “Welcome to the world, son!!”
Madden also explained the meaning of the name Nautas, describing it as “sailor, navigator, voyager, one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown.”
The couple are already parents to daughter Raddix, six, and son Cardinal, two, and have consistently kept their children out of the public eye.
