The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) has appointed Mufutau Salawu as it’s Deputy Governorship candidate ahead of the 2027 election.
The APM, while unveiling Salawu, disclosed that the development was carried out after a careful consideration by party members and stakeholders, adding that the designee deserved the appointment due to his positive track record asm a public office holder.
During the event held at the party’s secretarial in Ibadan on Wednesday, the political association held that the deputy governorship candidate has served in various capacities at both the local and state government levels prior to his recent appointment, and would work effectively with the governorship candidate, Bimbo Adekambi,
The party said the nomination received unanimous support from stakeholders and members present at the unveiling, urging all to support the duo as the party aims to secure victory ay the polls.
