Wike-Backed PDP Reacts to Turaki Faction’s Assembly with ADC

The faction of the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) aligned with Nyesom Wike has referred to as on celebration members to dismiss stories of a gathering between the Taminu Turaki-led group and the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In a press release issued on Wednesday, the celebration’s Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Jungudo Mohammed, clarified that the PDP didn’t authorise the assembly.

He emphasised that the celebration has neither held formal nor casual talks with the ADC or its representatives.

In response to Mohammed, people who attended the assembly did so of their private capacities and shouldn’t be seen as representing the PDP.

He urged each celebration members and the general public to ignore any claims suggesting in any other case, describing them as unfounded and never reflective of the celebration’s official place.

Mohammed additional famous that preparations for the PDP’s primaries are ongoing, assuring that related timelines and pointers shall be introduced in the end.

“The celebration stays centered on its inside processes and its dedication to credible management for Nigerians,” he stated.

In the meantime, earlier on Wednesday, the Turaki-led faction paid a go to to the ADC faction led by David Mark, describing it as a present of solidarity forward of the 2027 elections.
