A governorship aspirant beneath the Individuals’s Democratic Get together (PDP) in Taraba state, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, on Friday, has criticised poor governance within the state, lamenting the rising debt burden beneath the present administration.
Bwacha who was the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) within the 2023 within the state mentioned this whereas declaring his intention to contest the 2027 election.
He expressed worries, alleging that the debt profile of the state has risen at an alarming price from about 237billion naira in 2023 to over a trillion naira.
He famous that his choice to contest the 2027 governorship was because of abysmal efficiency of Governor Agbu Kefas, whom he claimed, had inflicted untold hardship on the folks of the state.
“Our debt profile has risen alarmingly from about 237 billion naira in 2023 to over a trillion naira right this moment. This raises critical considerations about prudence, accountability, and management capability.
