The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Tuesday defended President Bola Tinubu and others whose names had been talked about in claims of the alleged impeachment plot in opposition to Governor Seyi Makinde
APC in an announcement by its publicity secretary, Comrade Olawale Sadare, described the alleged impeachment plot as a deliberate distraction.
The celebration stated the ploy was to draw undue sympathy for the governor who allegedly confronted imminent political retirement because of his personal ego and naivety.
