The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has amended its structure and ratified a brand new Nationwide Working Committee (NWC) led by former Senate President, Senator David Mark.
The choice was taken by the celebration’s delegates nationwide on Tuesday on the celebration’s nationwide conference in Abuja.
Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, former governor of Imo state and chairman of the electoral sub-committee, introduced the result of the vote.
Ihedioha, a former Deputy Speaker of the Home of Representatives, mentioned 1,576 delegates have been accredited, whereas 11 votes have been declared void.
He added that 1,471 delegates voted in favour of the constitutional modification, representing 94 per cent help.

Delegates had earlier ratified resolutions from the celebration’s 97th, 98th and 99th Nationwide Govt Committee (NEC) conferences.
Additionally, there was a movement for the adoption of the one centesimal NEC assembly held on March 25, 2026 by Senator Ireti Kingibe.
On his half, Chinedu Idigo, ADC nationwide organising secretary, outlined key resolutions adopted on the conference.
He mentioned the resolutions embrace a waiver of membership necessities, suspension of zoning provisions for govt places of work, and suspension of guidelines requiring substitute of vacant places of work from the identical zone as predecessors.
In his closing remarks, Senator Mark thanked the delegates for reaffirming his management and that of his workforce and described the conference as top-of-the-line organised he had attended.
