The Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, has introduced the postponement of the proposed nationwide voter revalidation train.
This follows a gathering with the Resident Electoral Commissioners, RECs, on Friday, April 10.
Following deliberations, the Fee resolved to postpone the train till after the 2027 normal election.
An announcement signed by Mohammed Kudu Haruna, INEC’s nationwide commissioner, chairman, data and voter training committee mentioned: “the voter revalidation train is a crucial part of the fee’s mandate to keep up a reputable and up-to-date nationwide register of voters.
