The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) has blamed the latest points between Governor Seyi Makinde and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja on exterior forces.
CCII in an announcement Monday by its publicity secretary, Kola Olomide, accused the exterior forces of being bent on escalating the state of affairs.
CCII mentioned within the assertion that the mentioned points between Governor Makinde and Oba Ladoja have been amicably resolved.
Quoting the CCII president-general, Ajeniyi Ajewole, the assertion famous that the disagreement had been addressed by inside dialogue and conventional conflict-resolution mechanisms in Ibadanland.
“The problems between Governor Makinde and the Olubadan have been resolved amicably, and the exterior forces that tried to create a disaster across the state of affairs have been defeated.
“The event displays the power of Ibadan’s inside management construction and the long-standing relationship between the 2 leaders.
“The disagreement by no means reached a stage that required exterior interference as a result of Ibadan elders and stakeholders promptly intervened,” he mentioned.
Chief Ajewole added: “No one is planning to question Governor Makinde, and no person can be planning to take away the Olubadan from his throne.”
Describing makes an attempt by exterior actors to escalate the state of affairs as pointless and unhelpful, he mentioned Ibadan has the capability to handle its personal affairs, including that the connection between the governor and the Olubadan stays rooted in mutual respect and a father-and-son bond.
