NEDC water intervention eases burden on girls, youngsters in Yobe communities 


 

The North-East Improvement Fee (NEDC) Monday handed over crucial water infrastructure to the Yobe State Water Company and RUWASA to handle water shortage in conflict-affected communities.

The centerpiece is the expanded Buni Gari Water Provide Undertaking, now serving Buni Yadi and environs in Gujba native authorities space.

Key elements embody 4 solar-powered boreholes, 300,000 liters of storage capability, a 50 KVA grid connection, and in depth pipeline reticulation. The NEDC additionally executed a 6-kilometer pipeline community in Buni Yadi.
