The Nationwide Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Monday introduced that potential corps members deployed to Enugu and Osun states are to notice that the orientation train for the states will start on Tuesday, twenty eighth April 2026, and finish on Monday, 18th Might, 2026; one week after graduation within the different 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A press release signed by the director of Info and Public Relations of the scheme, Caroline Embu, said that the slight adjustment was as a result of on-going in depth renovation of the camps by the state governments which has necessitated the change in date.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the orientation train for all different states and the FCT is scheduled to be held from Wednesday, twenty second April 2026 – Tuesday twelfth Might 2026,” she said.
The assertion added that affected potential corps members are to notice the differing dates for compliance.
