Senator Saliu Mustapha representing Kwara Central has expressed disappointment over the killing of Brigadier-Common O. Braimah and different troopers in Borno state.
Mustapha, a governorship aspirant below the All Progressives Congress described the incident as an enormous loss to the nation.
His phrases: “I’m deeply saddened by the tragic killing of Brigadier-Common O. Braimah, Commander of the 29 Process Power Brigade, alongside different brave troopers, following a coordinated assault on a army camp in Benisheikh, Borno State.
“This painful incident is a large loss to our nation. These gallant officers paid the last word worth in lively service whereas defending Nigeria’s territorial integrity and standing within the hole for peace, unity, and stability.”
Mustapha recommended the braveness and dedication of the troopers and prolonged his condolences to the Armed Forces and households of the victims.
He stated: “I commend their braveness, patriotism, and unwavering dedication to responsibility within the face of persistent safety challenges.
“Their sacrifices will ceaselessly stay part of our nationwide historical past. My heartfelt condolences go to the Nigerian Armed Forces and the households of the fallen heroes.
“Might Almighty Allah grant them power and luxury at this tough time. I pray that Allah (SWT) grants the souls of the departed everlasting relaxation in Aljannah Firdaus.”
