President Bola Tinubu has sought the approval of the Senate for a contemporary $516.3 million mortgage to help the development of the Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway undertaking.
The request was contained in a letter addressed to Senate President Godswill Akpabio and skim throughout plenary on Thursday.
In line with the president, the proposed mortgage from Deutsche {Bank} shall be used to finance Sections 1, Section 1a and 1b of the freeway undertaking.
The Sokoto–Badagry Superhighway is anticipated to cowl about 1,000 kilometres in whole, whereas the present section spans roughly 120 kilometres.
