The Nigerian Senate has confirmed Muttaqha Rabe Darma as a minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
The affirmation adopted Darma’s screening by lawmakers on Thursday.
Darma was nominated on Wednesday by President Bola Tinubu to hitch the Federal Govt Council, changing former Minister of Housing and City Improvement, Ahmed Musa Dangiwa.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who learn the president’s communication throughout plenary, had earlier referred the nomination to the Committee of the Entire for consideration, directing the panel to report again promptly.
Earlier than his nomination, Darma served as Govt Secretary of the Petroleum Expertise Improvement Fund.
