Atiku Rejects Shettima’s Problem, Refuses To Commerce Phrases Over ‘Disrespectful’ Remarks

Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, has mentioned he couldn’t carry himself to a stage the place he would interact in buying and selling phrases with Vice President Kashim Shettima, whom he described as missing respect and cultural worth.

Talking on BBC Hausa service, Shettima had challenged Atiku to offer a “scorecard” of his achievements.

Particularly, relating to initiatives executed in Northern Nigeria throughout his 1999 to 2007 tenure, whereas vowing to proceed throwing political jabs at him forward of 2027.

Reacting, Atiku dismissed these challenges as “disrespectful,” refusing to answer them

Atiku, who said  that he wouldn’t interact Shettima in a public alternate, pressured that respect and decorum had been vital values and tradition that had been well-observed in Northern Nigerian (Arewa).

“I can not reply Kashim as a result of he’s disrespectful and that isn’t the angle of an Arewa individual.

“I’m senior to Shettima in age, longer years of expertise in public service and in practically every thing which positioned me far forward of him in several positions,” he mentioned.
