AGF to NAPTIP, NDLEA, NHRC: We’re poised to institutionalise tradition of moral conduct
The Lawyer Normal of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, Monday, reaffirmed the President Bola Tinubu’s authorities resolve to institutionalise a tradition of moral conduct and measurable efficiency throughout all departments in ministries and businesses.
Fagbemi acknowledged this on the 2025 reward and recognition ceremony held in Abuja.
On the event, there have been (5) MASCO awardees from the ministry headquarters and zonal places of work, whereas the directorate stage awardees have been drawn from different businesses like Nationwide Company for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Individuals (NAPTIP), Nationwide Drug Regulation Enforcement Company (NDLEA), Nationwide Human Rights Fee (NHRC), Nigerian Regulation Faculty (NIALS), Nigerian Regulation Reforms Fee (NLRC) amongst others.
Describing the popularity as strategic, the AGF mentioned the initiative is firmly rooted within the Federal Civil Service Technique and Implementation Plan (2025) fcssip25, the Ministerial Deliverables and Nationwide Coverage on Justice.
“The ministry and its businesses have demonstrated outstanding resilience, aligning operation with nationwide priorities and embedding a tradition of outcomes throughout the justice worth chain.”
Whereas lauding the ministry’s authorized officers, directors, researchers and assist workers for the feat recorded, the AGF charged them on have to recommit self to professionalism and collaboration, saying there may be no improvement with out belief.
In her personal remarks, the Solicitor Normal and Everlasting Secretary within the ministry, Mrs Beatrice Jedy-Agba described the recipient as those that exceeded the decision to responsibility and demonstrated each braveness and a profound sense of duty in direction of the general public belief.
The transfer, in line with her, is to bolster tradition of advantage and accountability throughout the justice sector including: “I admonish all to stay dedicated to addressing institutional and sectoral challenges, with a shared resolve to uphold the rule of legislation and to ship justice and companies that command full public confidence.”
