The political storm in Rivers State could also be easing following a late-night intervention by President Bola Tinubu on the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President reportedly held talks with Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, and different key leaders from the state.
Whereas the small print of the assembly stay beneath wraps, it was reported that Governor Fubara accompanied Wike to his residence in Guzape, Abuja, after the discussions.
The report added that Fubara allegedly begged the minister, vowing by no means to point out him disrespect once more, signalling a possible reconciliation between the state’s highly effective political figures.
