Victor Osimhen’s estimated market value has fallen by €10 million, with Transfermarkt now placing the Galatasaray and Super Eagles striker at €65 million.
The latest Süper Lig market-value update, which assessed 239 players, reduced Osimhen’s valuation from €75 million despite his strong start to the 2026/27 campaign. He nevertheless remains the most valuable player in the Turkish top flight.
The new figure represents Osimhen’s lowest Transfermarkt valuation since June 2022, when he was still 23 and playing for Napoli.
From €120m peak to €65m
Osimhen reached a career-high estimated value of €120 million during his time at Napoli.
When he joined Galatasaray on loan in September 2024, Transfermarkt valued him at €100 million, making him the highest-valued player in Süper Lig history at the time.
His valuation subsequently fell after his move from one of Europe’s top five leagues, dropping to €75 million before reaching €70 million.
The figure later recovered to €75 million after Galatasaray completed his permanent transfer from Napoli in July 2025 for a reported €75 million fee. Transfermarkt retained that valuation in its May 2026 update.
The latest adjustment means Osimhen is now €55 million below his career peak.
Osimhen remains Turkey’s most valuable player
Despite the reduction, Osimhen continues to lead the Süper Lig market-value table.
Transfermarkt’s latest figures put him at €65 million, ahead of Galatasaray teammate Rafael Leão at €50 million, Fenerbahçe forward Dušan Vlahović at €35 million and Mohamed Salah at €22 million.
The update also affected several of the league’s other high-profile players following a summer transfer window that brought more internationally recognised names into Turkish football.

Strong form, but injury concerns
Osimhen’s latest valuation comes despite an impressive beginning to the new season.
The Nigerian has recorded six goals and two assists in four league appearances for Galatasaray, giving him a strong statistical start to the campaign.
However, his availability has also been affected by injury.
He missed Nigeria’s September AFCON qualifying matches and has yet to feature for Galatasaray in the Champions League this season after suffering an injury during league action.
Recent reporting on the Transfermarkt update has also linked the reduction to Osimhen’s injury history and the number of matches he has missed.
That means the €10 million reduction does not necessarily reflect his recent goalscoring output alone. Transfermarkt’s market values are estimates rather than confirmed transfer fees, and several factors can influence them.
For now, Osimhen remains the highest-valued player in the Turkish Süper Lig at €65 million, even as his latest valuation marks a significant decline from the €120 million peak he reached during his Napoli years.
